Absentee Voting by Mail
Any eligible voter requesting an absentee ballot through the mail must submit a request in writing to the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office. You do not have to provide a reason when requesting an absentee ballot by mail.

Ambulance Service
Gordon County provides ambulance services through a contract with AdventHealth Gordon. AdventHealth Gordon EMS operates as a department of the hospital to supply this service to the citizens and visitors of Gordon County.

Building Inspection

A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is a volunteer who is appointed by a Juvenile Court judge to advocate for abused or neglected children, to make sure they don’t get lost in the overburdened legal and social service system or languish in inappropriate group or foster homes.

Economic Development
The mission of the Gordon County Emergency Management Agency is to work with other government agencies to maintain a high level of preparedness, to protect the citizens of Calhoun and Gordon County; to mitigate loss of life and assets prior to, during, and during the aftermath of a disaster; and to facilitate the recovery of Calhoun and Gordon County in the mid- and long-term intervals following a disaster.
