Code Compliance, under the direction of the County Administrator, enforces county codes and ordinances for compliance. The department enforces compliance with county rules, laws, codes and ordinances including, but not limited to: nuisance abatement; zoning compliance; historic preservation; land disturbance; sediment and erosion control; floodplain management, provisions of the Unified Land Development Code; sign ordinance; Manufactured Home ordinances; business licenses; and, solid waste disposal violations. Code Enforcement investigates complaints concerning county ordinance violations and may issue citations to ordinance violators.
