Airport2-150x150This five-member authority has the responsibility of operating and managing the Calhoun/Gordon County airport, also known as Tom B. David Field. This Level III general aviation airport has 190 acres, a 6,000 foot long and 100-foot-wide lighted asphalt runway, new terminal and fuel system, 54 T-hangers, 8 corporate hangers, numerous tie-downs, sells aviation fuel, and leases hangers for revenue. The airports operation is funded by the county (50%) and the City of Calhoun (50%). The county provides this authority with an annual supplement.
