On Thursday, January 16, 2025, Gordon County Emergency Management met with several local churches and community organizations to discuss potential emergency needs of the Community.
While Gordon County and the City of Calhoun's public safety departments do an amazing job keeping our community safe, non-profits are an amazing resource in times of emergency.
The Topics discussed were having a warming shelter that the churches help support and the churches building Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT). Gordon County looks forward to working with these organizations.
