Information Technology

The County IT Department is the central hub for all technological infrastructure, services, and support within the county government. Its primary objective is to ensure that all departments and agencies have access to reliable, secure, and efficient technology solutions to facilitate the delivery of public services and enhance administrative operations.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Acquisition, Implementation and Maintenance of: 
    • Local Area Networks, Wireless Networks, and working with Internet Service Providers to provide safe and reliable connection to the Internet and other services outside of the local network
    • On-premise servers and Cloud Services
    • Desktops, laptops, tablets, cell phones, printers, scanners, etc
    • Telecommunications including VoIP desk phones and county email
    • Helpdesk, Local/Cloud Backups, User Training, Email Security, Web Filtering, Court Audio/Video Systems, Digital Signage, and building access control
    • Assists county admin with website and social media
    • Multi-Building Video/Audio Security Recording Systems
    • Assist with Sheriff's Office in-car recording systems
